Standards
Editorial policy.
Accuracy, attribution and a visible line between reporting and promotion are the foundations of Elvari Scope.
01 · Accuracy
Evidence before velocity.
We verify dates, legal status, product specifications, project milestones and quoted figures against the strongest source available. For legislation and licences, that usually means the regulator, parliament or official legal publication. For a company target or product specification, it means the company’s dated filing or statement—with the claim clearly attributed.
A press release can establish what a company said. It cannot, by itself, establish that a product performs as claimed or that a future project will open on schedule.
02 · Labels
Fact, claim and analysis stay distinct.
News reports describe verifiable developments. Analysis explains implications and is labelled. Forward-looking dates are attributed to the organisation that published them. Inference is identified through language such as “suggests”, “indicates” or “Elvari Scope’s view”.
Sponsored editorial is not part of our current publishing model. If that changes, paid material will be visually and verbally separated from newsroom work and will not influence unrelated coverage.
03 · Sources
Primary record first.
We link to source material when it is publicly available and useful to the reader. Anonymous sourcing is reserved for information with a clear public-interest value that cannot reasonably be reported on the record. Before publication, the desk must know the source’s identity, access to the information and likely motivation.
We do not reproduce confidential or personal information merely because it is available. Tips are evaluated for authenticity, relevance, fairness and potential harm.
04 · Corrections
Correct clearly and proportionately.
Factual errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible. A material correction receives an editor’s note explaining what changed and when. Minor spelling, grammar, style or link repairs may be made without a note when they do not alter meaning.
Updates that add new information are marked with a modified date. We do not silently rewrite the central conclusion of a published article. Send correction requests to [email protected] with the page URL, disputed wording and supporting evidence.
05 · Independence
No affiliate incentive.
We do not earn a commission from casino sign-ups, deposits or gambling activity. We do not publish operator rankings, bonus lists or “best casino” pages. Editorial decisions are not offered in exchange for advertising, event access, travel or products.
If a source funds travel, supplies equipment or provides another material benefit connected to a report, we disclose it within that report. Staff and contributors must disclose relevant financial interests and recuse themselves where the conflict cannot be managed transparently.
06 · Visuals & AI
Illustration must not impersonate evidence.
Elvari Scope uses generated editorial imagery when a suitable original photograph is unavailable or when a conceptual image better communicates the subject. Generated images are captioned as conceptual or editorial illustrations. They must not be presented as documentary evidence of a real product, person, site or event.
AI tools may assist with research organisation, transcription, accessibility checks, code and visual creation. Published facts remain subject to human editorial verification. AI output is never treated as a source.
07 · Responsible coverage
Industry reporting without gambling promotion.
Images and language avoid glamourising loss, presenting gambling as income or creating urgency to participate. We include 18+ and support information throughout the site. Where a story concerns gambling harm, privacy and dignity take priority over spectacle.
Company and game names are included only when editorially necessary. We do not link to gambling platforms.
